In the final quarter of 2020, the air travel industry's digital platforms saw varied user engagement across Europe. Sensor Tower's comprehensive analysis offers a glimpse into these trends for the top five air travel applications on the unified iOS and Android platforms.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced a gradual decrease in weekly revenue from $86K in late September to $64K by the end of December. Downloads for the app also followed a declining trend, dropping from 58K to 55K, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with a slight drop from 640K to 613K.

The Ryanair app showed relatively stable but low revenue figures, hovering around $100 to $140 weekly, and ending at $72 in the last week of December. Downloads saw a decrease from 65K in September to 38K in December, with weekly active users declining from 619K to 497K.

Wizz Air - Book Flights, despite reporting no revenue, witnessed a decrease in downloads from 32K to 20K. Weekly active users for Wizz Air's app saw a gradual decrease from 243K to 200K throughout the quarter.

easyJet: Travel App also reported no revenue but experienced a similar downward trend in downloads, from 27K to 18K. The app's weekly active users decreased from 435K at the start of the quarter to 337K by the end of December.

Lastly, Pegasus: Cheap Flight Tickets showed a fluctuating download trend, with an initial decrease from 19K to 15K, followed by a slight increase to 14.5K. The app's weekly active users started at 108K and experienced a drop, stabilizing at around 97K in the last weeks of the quarter.
